From burnout to balance as a busy working mum.
Mother & Matriarch is a space for women who feel the constant weight of juggling their career, children, home, and the invisible mental load.
If you’re stuck in survival mode, spinning plates, running on empty, and wondering why it feels so hard, you’re not alone.
I’m Erin Ablett, a motherhood and identity coach, and I created this space to help you uncover the root cause of your burnout and move beyond the patterns, beliefs, and expectations keeping you stuck.
Together, we focus on setting and holding boundaries, reclaiming your energy, and shaping a life that actually works for you and your family.
As a mum and step-mum of three, a holistic health practitioner, and a senior marketing leader, I’ve lived the burnout, the people-pleasing, and the pressure to hold it all together.
I learned the hard way, so you don’t have to.

My mission
“For every woman who feels the impossible weight of carrying it all, this is your space to finally exhale and learn how to lighten the load without life falling apart.”
Mother & Matriarch was born from love, loss, and the deep knowing that so many of us are navigating motherhood, career, and life without the support we truly need.
Through coaching, community, and honest conversation, we work through burnout to uncover the root cause of your behaviours and beliefs, so we can set boundaries that help shape a life that works around you and your family.
We were never meant to carry it all alone or lose ourselves in motherhood. But the system is still not set up for mothers to be their whole selves and explore career, children and self-care.
I’m passionate about changing that by helping you advocate for yourself.
This is a mission for cultural change. But it’s also deeply personal, as this work is also a legacy shaped by my mum’s unfinished story, and the new one I am writing for myself and my children.
Because life is short, time is precious, and these beautifully chaotic days are the ‘good old days’ you’ll one day look back on.

Each week, I share honest reflections on motherhood, career, identity, and the quiet, powerful shifts that help us come back to ourselves.
This is where I write the things many women are thinking but rarely say out loud.
If you’re navigating life without the village, feeling the pull for something more, or simply want to feel a little less alone in it all, you’re in the right place.
Let’s walk this together.
